e.tea to close down temporarily

e.tea at E. 22nd Avenue and Rupert Street in Vancouver will be closing down temporarily.  Here is the message to their patrons:
“We are opening still Oct 31
Thank you for your supports
New E.TEA Restaurant will be open at the same place in year 2021-2022
We are looking forward to serve you again soon
Bye”
 

This (long) temporary close and re-opening is due to the strip mall being redeveloped.  In its place will be a 6-storey mixed use building with 55 rental units and 5 retail units.  Parking will become underground parking stalls.
So don’t worry, this neighbourhood bubble tea spot will be back!  It will be exciting to see the design and renovations of the new store.
